TFO Canada celebrates Gender Equality Week

In 2023, TFO Canada celebrated Gender Equality Week from September 17 to 23. This year’s theme, “United for Gender Equality: Stronger Together”, emphasized the importance of unity regardless of gender, sexual orientation, racial background, or level of education. TFO Canada aims to increase the participation and representation of women in decision-making roles within Trade Support Institutions (TSIs) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Working with women-led and women-owned businesses has been a hallmark of our work for many years. SMEs are viewed as the engines of economic growth as they have a higher impact on job creation, but have difficulties finding their trade niche due to the cost of trade. Women-led SMEs face additional constraints to compete and benefit from trade, which TFO Canada addresses. TFO Canada took a look back to celebrate the TSIs and SMEs making change. Learn More!
