Now in it’s 29th year, the TradeExpo Indonesia is the country’s largest trade show of the year and showcases the best of Indonesian export products direct from the manufacturers, artisans and producers. Attracting over 9,000 buyers from 100 countries, this B2B trade show includes quality, handpicked products ranging from food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, manufactured goods, textiles, to craft sectors.
Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade is offering a promotional program for buyers to come to Indonesia and develop direct business relations with producers. This offer can be used as an opportunity to attend the Trade Expo Indonesia to develop supplier-importer relationships. The purpose of the program is to partially offset costs incurred for activities that conclude in import orders from Indonesia.
The program includes the following entitlements:
1. Round-trip international air ticket up to the amount of USD 3,000.
2. Domestic air ticket to visit production center up to three regions within Indonesia
2. Free Accommodation up to the maximum period of 5 days 4 nights stay
3. Local transportation
4. Lunch during the mission up to three (3) times
5. Interpreter assistance
6. Directorate General of National Export Development (DGNED) team assistance and companion for regional visits
Buyers are eligible for international and domestic roundtrip air tickets and logging reimbursement only if they conclude import orders from Indonesia and meet several other pre-requisites, such as engaging in regular communication with the seller well in advance of concluding a contract in Indonesia. All entitlements are dependent on the buyers’ conclusion of a real transaction on-the-spot, proven by the signing of an MoU, purchase order or contract with a minimum value of $USD 1.2 million.
