COVID Regional Updates

The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has caused a global health pandemic and a global economic slowdown. This has impacted international trade and development, and will no doubt have consequences for many of our partner countries. Each month we will share current COVID-19 updates from the countries we work with that might be your partners or clients in hopes to provide some insights on the markets you are importing from.

Colombia 

Boarder Closure
All land and and sea borders are closed to non-Colombian citizens and residents until 31 August 2020
International flights, including transit via Bogotá’s El Dorado Airport, are suspended until 31 August

Curfew
8pm and 5am on weekdays and a lockdown from 2PM on Saturday until 5AM on Tuesday

Required Isolation
14 days of quarantine, and complete an online form prior to entering the country[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][vc_column_text]

Peru

Boarder Closure
Domestic flights resumed July 15th 2020 except for 7 regions: Áncash, Arequipa, Huánuco, Ica, Junín, Madre de Dios, and San Martín.
Commercial flights suspended until 31 July 2020.
Currently, borders are only open to repatriation flights for Peruvian nationals and residents.

Curfew
Country wide 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM.
For the 7 regions- all-day Sunday curfew and mandatory nightly curfew from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM.

Required Isolation
14 days quarantine upon arrival, and must fill out a Declaration of Traveler’s Health.
Please note before being able to move from one region of Peru to another, the local government may first require you to submit a medical certificate, following a rapid COVID-19 test, stating that you are free from infection[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][vc_column_text]

Guatemala

Boarder Closure
All borders have been closed to non-residents until 15 August 2020

Curfew
6:00pm – 5:00am daily

Required Isolation
15 days quarantine; after August 15th, 2020 visitors required to quarantine for 7 days.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner]

Honduras

Boarder Closure
Land, air and maritime borders are closed until further notice. Only Honduran nationals, permanent residents and diplomats are exempt from the entry ban

Curfew
5:00pm. The Government of Honduras extended the National Curfew until Sunday, July 26 at 11:00 p.m

Required Isolation
14-day self isolation
