Working Through COVID-19

The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has caused a global health pandemic and a global economic slowdown. This has impacted international trade and development, and will no doubt have consequences for many of our partner countries.

We recognize that these are uncertain times and the situation continues to evolve. TFO Canada’s commitment is to continue providing important information and services in support of our stakeholders and beneficiaries. This will include the passing of information from various Canadian government departments so that we all understand changes that are happening when it comes to doing business with Canada right now, as a result of COVID-19. Additionally, you can count on us to continue delivering our regular services as usual.

Many of our partners have had to slow down or cease production and exporting altogether during this time. Due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 outbreak, TFO Canada’s office will remain closed until further notice. This is being done to protect the health and safety of our staff and volunteers. However we have initiated our work from home policy, and we are continuing to provide the level of service and commitment that you expect from TFO Canada.

TFO Canada will continue to provide services to our partners and stakeholders. On this page, we will provide insights to our stakeholder on how we are working through COVID-19.

As the date comes closer, this decision will be re-evaluated based on public health advice. The closure may be extended if necessary, to protect the health and safety of staff and volunteers.

Our services are continuing

At this time, our staff and associates will not be travelling domestically or internationally, furthermore we are no longer attending conferences and events. We will be conducting all internal and external meetings online. We will continue to operate as usual and continue to provide timely responses to our stakeholders and the community.

We remain available and can be reached via email or telephone.
