The Women Exporters Fund (WEF) is intended to reduce financial constraints on Women-led Small and Medium-sized Exporters in Sub-Saharan Africa to participate in conferences, training or digital marketing. The fund will provide up to CAD $400 for attending conferences and up to CAD $700 for training or digital marketing.
Round #2 of funding is open to women exporters in the following countries and sectors (for anglophone countries):
- Ethiopia: Agrofood (fresh and processed)
- Ghana: Agrofood (fresh and processed); Artisan – home décor
- Kenya: Agrofood (fresh and processed); Artisan – home decor/apparel
- Nigeria: Agrofood (fresh and processed)
- Uganda: Agrofood (fresh and processed)
- Zambia Agrofood (fresh and processed)

Qualified women-led SMEs may apply for funding using the Application Form. The deadline for application for Round #2 is September 10, 2021.
