Celebrating 10 years since the ratification of the Canada-Jordan Free trade agreement.

In 2021, Jordan’s exports to Canada total $CAD 121.4 million with textiles leading in exports.

TFO Canada is proud to work with Jordan on the implementation of the Women in Trade for Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Growth (WITISG) project, with the financial support of the government of Canada provided through Global Affairs Canada.

The joint effort provides for the delivery of customized training for the Trade Support Institution, Jordan Exporters Association (JEA), and for the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) on export readiness services, corporate social responsibility, and environment and climate change. Nigeria: Export Offer

TFO Canada is pleased to announce that we will be featuring export offers from our beneficiary countries along with information on partner Trade Support Institutions (TSIs) to support you in your search for new international markets. This month our featured export offer is from Nigeria in partnership with Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) was established in August of 1986 with the principal objective of promoting economic and industrial development within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, in particular, and Nigeria in general.

ACCI is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, member-funded organisation solely representing the common interests of the business community in the FCT. The Chamber is privately funded by Corporations, Foundations and Members, therefore its energies are directed by the interests of the business community and the general public.

Presently, Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry has established association and linkages with business groups, trade associations, international chambers, government agencies, trade offices and foreign embassies, so as to accomplish its goal of enhancing the sustainable growth and development of businesses in the FCT.

Its mission is to serve, support and enhance the businesses of our members as well as contribute to the development of the national economy.

The top export products of Nigeria in terms of value (excluding minerals and fuels) are cocoa and rubber. In 2021 Canadian merchandise imports from Nigeria totalled $CAD 2.1 billion.
