Introducing natural health product (NHP) cost recovery

Health Canada is proposing fees for the natural health product industry to recover a portion of the cost of services provided to the industry. The fees will also support improvements to the Natural Health Products Program and create a safer marketplace by detecting and responding to quality issues and preventing harmful products from entering the marketplace. The fees fall into three categories: pre-market evaluation, site licenses, and right to sell.
