Kenya: Export Offer
TFO Canada is pleased to announce that we will be featuring export offers from our beneficiary countries along with information on partner Trade Support Institutions (TSIs) to support you in your search for new international markets. This month our featured export offer is from Kenya in partnership with Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPROBA)
The Agency is under the State Department for Trade, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Enterprise Development and its mandate is to promote Industrialization and Enterprise Development through:
- Industrialization and Cooperative Policy formulation and implementation;
- Implementation of the Industrial Property Rights regime;
- Private Sector Development Policy and Strategy;
- Quality Control including Industrial Standards development;
- Co-operative Savings, Credit and other Financial Services Policy and regulation;
- Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Buy Kenya policy.
The top export products of Kenya (excluding minerals) are Black Tea, Cut Flowers, Edible Vegetables, Coffee and apparel Textiles. Canadian imports from Kenya reached $CAD 44.9 million in 2021.
