Pacific Alliance (Pa) Targets the Canadian Market With Its Fresh and Processed Foods

From October 23rd to 24th, 2017 come visit the Pacific Alliance Pavilion at the Grocery Innovations Show (GIC) in Toronto. TFO Canada, with its trade promotion partners PROCOLOMBIAPROCHILEPROMEXICO and PROMPERU, has organized an exporter mission of twenty (20) companies from Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru exhibiting fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables, condiments, oils and nuts, and superfoods. TFO Canada invites buyers to meet face-to-face with these suppliers by making B2B appointments during the GIC and closing deals with one or more of them.

From natural energy drinks, freeze dried fruits to dried herbs here are some specific products being showcased that may pique the interest of Canadian importers: avocadoes, and quinoa snacks, maquiberry (a superfood), maca powders, quinoa-based baby foods and lettuces such a batavia and salanova.

Improving Market Access and Export Readiness for Small and Medium Enterprises

This exporter’s mission to GIC is the last activity of TFO Canada and partners’ project Improving Market Access and Export Readiness for Pacific Alliance Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. Twenty companies were screened, evaluated and validated through a visit from TFO Canada Consultant to each member country of the Pacific Alliance. These companies with quality products and export capacity are from disadvantaged regions, of their respective countries and have had the opportunity to participate in in-country TFO Canada’s “Export to Canada” seminars. These seminars strengthen their understanding of the Canadian market, its geography, demography, sectors and modes of trade, along with market access information.

All four countries of the alliance each have a free trade agreement (FTA) with Canada and as a result this project aimed to maximize the economic and developmental impact of FTAs at the implementation phase, particularly for SMEs, and to stimulate sustainable economic growth.

Make a B2B appointment to meet the SME producers from the Pacific Alliance!
