COVID Regional Updates

The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has caused a global health pandemic and a global economic slowdown. This has impacted international trade and development, and will no doubt have consequences for many of our partner countries. Each month we will share current COVID-19 updates from the countries we work with that might be your partners or clients in hopes to provide some insights on the markets you are importing from.

Bangladesh

Boarder Closure
International flights from select countries have resumed.
Arrivals from high-risk COVID-19 countries must complete a Health Declaration Form and Passenger Locator Form
All foreign nationals must show a negative COVID-19 test result dated no more than 72 hours before departure.

Curfew
10:00PM to 05:00AM

Required Isolation
Health officials will assess if you are able to self-quarantine for 14 days.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][vc_column_text]

Cambodia

Boarder Closure
Travelers who are eligible to enter must provide a negative COVID-19 test result that is no older than 72 hours, and prove that they have medical insurance with minimum coverage of US $50,000.
Foreign travelers are required to deposit US $3,000 for COVID-19 service charges at the airport upon entry. Once deductions for services have been made, the remainder of the deposit will be returned.

Anyone who tests positive upon arrival will be quarantined for 14 days at designated facilities. Travelers who test negative must self-isolate at their own accommodation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][vc_column_text]

Indonesia

Boarder Closure
Foreign nationals cannot enter Indonesia.
f you are entering (with permission- special cases) you must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result no older than 7 days. If you do not have a negative COVID-19 certificate, you will undergo a swab test and quarantine.
You will also need to a statement that confirms you are ready to quarantine for 14 days if required.

Vietnam

Boarder Closure
Foreign nationals cannot enter Vietnam and visas are suspended.
Only Vietnamese nationals, foreigners on diplomatic or official business, and highly skilled workers allowed to enter, travelers must submit an online health declaration form, and undergo medical checks upon arrival.

Curfew
Yes – in several localities considered high-risk (check specific city for curfew)

Required Isolation
14 days, and may be extended if you test positive for COVID

Jordan

Boarder Closure
Resumption of commercial flights postponed until 31 August.
Travelers from low-risk countries in the green zone are still being established.
Non-Jordanian travelers must provide proof of valid health insurance.

Curfew
11pm to 6am

14 days of quarantine
