Mbobabanjack Enterprise is a small scale business entity active in Gambia's nascent agrifood and beverages industry set up in the summer of 1994 by a group of women entrepreneurs active in the horticulture. With a modest number of employees of five, including three auxiliaries, this Gambia business comprise of very humble beginning. It has since maintained a presence in the value chain, armed with an ambition to follow the trend of under-resourced SMEs and grow big, if not even bigger. Using a value food chain approach from processing, distribution and sale, this all-women enterprise deals in local products, amongst them are African cereals, namely; couscous, fonio, groundnut porridge, peanut butter, boabab powder, baby mix, cassava powder and cassava balls, dried mango chips, mango juice and jam, etc.
