ALISA HANDMADE

Alisa Handmade makes jewelry and decoration accessories incorporating typical fabrics and other materials from Guatemalan culture. Discover among others their “Bendiciones” line, which uses traditional braiding techniques.

Buying their products means being part of a social support project for Guatemalan artisans and their families, and helping to keep their traditions alive.

ARTEXCO

Artexco is made up of seven indigenous women-led cooperatives. Its objective is to promote the economic, social and cultural development of the associates and their families, allowing them self-management and sustainability.

They use different techniques such as backstrap looms, foot looms, bracelet looms, blown glass, pottery and embroideries marketed through their brand “Kult”.

This month our featured export offer is from Madagascar in partnership with The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Antananarivo (CCIA).

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Antananarivo (CCIA) is a public institution supporting the private sector. It works in partnership with national and international technical and financial partners.

It provides its members with support, information, and training services for companies. Among others: the connection of national operators with foreign operators through the organization of trade shows, B2B meetings; business opportunities presentations in partnership with its networks (for example, TFO Canada, embassies and foreign chambers of commerce); market studies; information on international business opportunities; organization of business trips; and training and coaching of SMEs in export activities.
